Our Brocklebank Museum is
normally open on the 2nd and 4th Sundays from 2-5 p.m. during July
through Columbus Day Weekend in
October.
For the 2008 season

Kandie Carle, aka The Victorian Lady, will charm her audience as
she transforms herself from a 21st century woman into a lady of the
"Gay Nineties". From corsets to gloves, Ms. Carle will explain about the history and fashion of the
middle class American woman giving us a glimpse of what life was
like in society at that time. This will be an entertaining show for
men and women alike! There will be refreshments, Period Display and
you will meet the Performer.

June 21st (Saturday) – Old Fashioned Baseball at the Perley
School Ball Field - 1:00 pm
Come and watch the return performance of an exhibition game
of vintage baseball as it was in 1861. The Essex Base Ball Club
is coming back to delight the audience with their expertise at
ball playing as they show us how early baseball was played. The will
be selling their own homemade baseballs and tee shirts which help to

or shine)
Join us for our third house tour highlighting various vintages of
homes, and the Brocklebank Museum. Admission is $20, no children
under ten years of age, and no cameras, backpacks, food, or packages
allowed in the private homes. No admittance to houses without
a ticket. More details later.
