Schedule of Museum & School House Visits

 

Our Brocklebank Museum is normally open on the 2nd and 4th Sundays from 2-5 p.m. during July

through Columbus Day Weekend in October. 

This year (2009) the dates are: 7/12,7/26/,8/9,8/23,9/13,9/27,9/11

"Old Fashioned Baseball"

 

Come bring the family for a great Georgetown tradition! Baseball played using the rules from 1861. Our "Home Team", the Essex Base Ball Club takes on the Waterbury Conners from CT.

"Trails & Sails"

Trails and Sails is an annual event sponsored each September by the Essex National Heritage Commission. Promoted as a “Weekend to Go! Experience Essex Heritage,” Trails and Sails is a series of free events celebrating historical, cultural and natural sites throughout Essex County, Massachusetts. Since its inception in 2002, sponsored events have included such activities as: whale watches, march walks, kayaking, biking, foraging walks, architectural talks, farm tours, and more. Many activities including, craft fair, business open-houses, music, chili cook-off and much, much more! The Brocklebank Museum will be open from 10am-5pm on Sat and Sun.
