normally open on the 2nd and 4th Sundays from 2-5 p.m. during July
through Columbus Day Weekend in
October.

"Trails
& Sails"
Trails
and Sails is an annual event sponsored each September by the
Essex National Heritage Commission. Promoted as a “Weekend
to Go! Experience Essex Heritage,” Trails and Sails is
a series of free events celebrating historical, cultural and
natural sites throughout Essex County, Massachusetts. Since
its inception in 2002, sponsored events have included such activities
as: whale watches, march walks, kayaking, biking, foraging walks,
architectural talks, farm tours, and more. The event web site
