You are cordially invited to join the Georgetown Historical Society, Georgetown, Massachusetts, a non-profit organization, in its efforts to preserve our historical heritage. Your support will aid in the preservation and maintenance of the Captain Samuel Brocklebank Museum and in the acquisition of historically significant artifacts and memorabilia.

FEATURES OF EACH MEMBERSHIP TYPE

Every Basic, Contributing, Sustaining, or Lifetime member will be provided a membership card that shows membership level. All “Basic” members will receive free entry to the museum just by showing their card. “Contributing” members will receive free entry to the museum and a 10% discount on items purchased from the GHS. In addition to free museum entry to the by showing their card, “Sustaining” and “Lifetime” members will also receive free attendance at special GHS programs including house tours, speaker events, etc. Basic, contributing and sustaining memberships are for one year. Lifetime memberships, after the indicated one-time payment, are for the life of all members included under it.

Business/Corporate memberships are for one year and entitle the organization to have their company name/information (business card) placed into the quarterly newsletter as free advertisement, with mention in any special event pamphlet printed by the Society. Business/Corporate members are non-voting memberships.

 Since membership dues and fees provide a large part of the funds which help us to do our research, to save and to display our town’s history, the more members we have the better we are able to achieve those goals. So, please become a member today.
